We all want to look our best everyday of the year especially during the summer. Time for all those outdoor activities, events, BBQ dinners with friends and families, wedding's, or just a day at the beach. Since we will be showing of a bit more of ourselves during these warm days we like to take steps in looking our best but sometimes those steps go wrong, very wrong. Here are a few solutions that may be able to help with those disasters.
Applied a little to much self tanner and now your looking like Snooki's twin? Try ex-foliating the problem area with a damp loofah or scrub. You can also soak in a warm bath to help open up your pores then rub a lemon on the problem areas. In a hurry? Try using a bronzer to even things out.
Try using a dry shampoo. Just spay some onto your roots and massage it in. If you don't have time to shower then most likely your a mom with much to do and you may have baby powder laying around. Spinkle same baby powder onto your roots and work it. Combing it back into a sleek ponytail always works, that's my go to solution.
Showing off some skin this summer? Avoid razor burn with these tips.
- Ex-foliate your skin.
- Wash area with warm water to help soften skin and open up pores.
- Use new, sharp razor blades.
- Shave with the grain.
- Apply moisturizing lotion afterward to keep skin soft.
It's summer and with this heat wave we all expected to sweat while out in sun partaking in our fun summer activies and events. Try preventing this problem before it happens with applying deodorant like
Dove® ClearTone™ Deodorant the night before, it will give it time to soak into your skin. When you shower in the morning use a anti-bacterial body wash with a gentle body scrub to get rid of dead skin cells. Apply deodorant again in the morning to dy skin so it can fully absorb. Wear breathable fabrics and light colors.
Nobody likes dry skin so keep skin soft and moisturize by ex-foliating skin in the shower and using a moisturizing soap like Dove moisturizing soap bar. Apply a moisturizing lotion after showing. My favorite moisturizer is coconut oil. The quicker you apply a moisturizer after a shower the better.
I've had this happen before and it was a disaster! If you make this mistake while coloring your own hair you can try to wash it out with clarifying shampoo or dish soap. This must be done quickly before the color fully settles into your hair. Also keep in mind that when coloring your own hair at home, you should never go more than two shades lighter or darker than your current hair color.
No one likes looking like a tomato! Prevent it before it becomes an issue by using sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen! Use Aloe vera or a cool compress on your sunburn for some relief. Drink lots of water to keep hydrated.
I hope this helps with any beauty blunders you may encounter when trying to look your best.
Don't forget it enjoy your beauty.
