With Cold and flu season here we take certain precautions to avoid getting sick because no one likes to get sick. The worst symptom is sinus pain from pressure build up. The sinus pressure and congestion can make our days miserable, it feels like the weight of the world is all centered on your sinuses. Serious sinus pressure not only makes us feel uncomfortable but it also makes it hard for us to focus and get what needs to be done accomplished. Whether we are stay at home parents or have a 9-5 job, sinus pressure can serious impact our daily responsibilities.I know when I'm suffering from sinus pressure and congestion everything needs to be placed on hold because I just can't seem to focus on what needs to be done and that means that work and home all need to be placed on hold until I feel better.
Sudafed is the leader in sinus pressure pain and cold congestion relief and they've created an awesome App on Facebook called Sudafed OPEN UP™ for decongestant users to unite! Sudafed is inviting serious sinus sufferers to communicate how sinus pain and pressure looks and feels in a creative fashion through their new OPEN UP™ application where you can create a work of art to illustrate how sinus pressure makes you feel and look.
The application allows you to view how others feel when they're suffering from sinus pressure and congestion.
I logged onto the site the other day to illustrate how sinus pressure and congestion makes me feel. The app was very simple to use and had many features to help illustrate exactly how I feel when I'm suffering from sinus pain. The big red nose demonstrates how big and red my nose looks when I'm sick, the elephant shows how heavy the pressure on my sinus feels and the red crank demonstrates the overall pressure I feel in my sinus and head.
Here is an infographic with useful facts and information about serious sinus pressure.
Sudafed knows that suffering from sinus pressure and pain can leave individuals feeling crushed, beat down, congested and even squeezed, desperately looking for a way to open up. Serious sinus sufferers are invited to creatively share how their sinus pain and pressure looks and feels to them by using Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook.
Then, beginning on December 2, the Sudafed Facebook community will vote for one of five finalist sketches that best illustrates the pains of sinus pressure. The winner will receive $5,000 and a chance to have their work included in a Sudafed advertising campaign. For more information, visit the Sudafed Facebook page.
