Baked sweet bread are always an easy dessert to bring to a class or office party. They are easy to make and require little to no fuss, just bake and take. Baking with chocolate is always fun because chocolate baking goods are always a big hit with everyone. I've been holding onto this Pumpkin bread recipe for sometime but wanted to do something fun and unique with it. When the opportunity to create a recipe using Milk Chocolate M&M's I knew I would be using my delicious pumpkin bread recipe.
I stopped by Walmart to purchase my ingredients for my pumpkin bread recipe along with a bag of Plain M&M's. I got lucky because they were on a rollback price and was able to get a great deal on my bag of M&M's.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups - All purpose flour
- 1 Tsp - Baking powder
- 2 Tsp - Baking soda
- 1/2 Tbsp - Salt
- 1 Tsp - Cinnamon
- 7 oz. - Oil
- 2 cups - Sugar
- 1 lb - Pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
- 4 - Eggs
- 7 oz. - Water
- 1 cup - Plain M&M's
Instructions:
- Mix Pumpkin puree, oil, water and eggs together
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, sugar and salt
- Combine liquid ingredients with dry ingredients and mix until blended but don't over mix.
- Add M&M's.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 55 minutes
