Walgreens has so many great and convenient services, both in person and online. You can always stop by at your local Walgreens to speak to your pharmacist for any questions you have about your health or medications. Walgreens online has many features that include medication refill reminders, prescription history and pharmacy chat; a feature that allows you to speak to a live pharmacist from the comfort of your own home at anytime of the day or night.
Whether you have a question about your medication, need health related answers, or you're feeling a little under the weather and unable to speak to your doctor, a Walgreens pharmacist will be there to assist you with your health related questions.
Over the recent holidays my whole family was not feeling well. It seems like it's not the holidays unless someone is sick. We all had a cough, mucus congestion and some of us had a slight fever. We spent most of our days during that very cold week home and snuggled up on the couch. The kids ended up sleeping through out most of the days and the last thing I wanted to do was wake them from their naps, get them bundled up and out into the cold to make a trip down the street to our nearest Walgreens or try to squeeze in a last minute doctor's appointment during the cold & flu season.
On a day that it was nearly impossible to get out to my local Walgreens to speak with a pharmacist or to see our doctor, I'm glad I had Walgreens Pharmacy Chat at my fingertips... literally, it was like having my very own personal pharmacist to answer any questions I had about our health. It did take a few minutes for me to speak to a pharmacist but it was definitely a very convenient tool late at night when I couldn't get away to speak to a pharmacist in person.
The pharmacist was unable to recommend any medicines for my 2 year-old but I did stop by to pick up a few cough & cold essentials to help him with his illness. I went to the infant/toddler section and grabbed some nasal wipes, nasal saline and a fever reducer to help keep his fever down.
Walgreens wants to help you with any health concern's or illnesses you may have so you can be well & healthy again and get back to what makes you happy.
