Potty Training isn't the easiest thing for many parents and we could all use a little help with this task that many of us don't look forward to. After potty training my oldest, I honestly don't feel anymore confident about potty training my son. I did however, pick up a few helpful tips and tricks on making the entire process less stressful for all of us. One of my potty training must-have items are Cottonelle Fresh Care wipes, they will help your toddler get a better clean.
My 5 Must-Haves for Potty Training
- Cottonelle Care toilet paper and wipes. You're going to need soft and strong toilet paper that you can rely on and is easy on the budget. Flushable cleansing cloths are great for a children who are used to being wiped with moist wipes to transition to using toilet paper.
- Fun potty seat. Let's make this a fun experience. Select a potty seat with your child's favorite characters on it.
- Potty rewards. A little special treat for when they have successfully used the toilet. Marshmallows, M&M's, or stickers are great "Potty Rewards"
- Reading material. You and your child may be seating in the bathroom for several minutes at a time in the beginning, a great time for story time and can help them relax.
- Patience. You're definitely going to need patience for this big event in your toddlers life. It's going to take several attempts to get them potty trained.
Your children are going to love being rewarded for their potty training efforts and accomplishments.
