Reading Eggs is a website for children 3-13 years that uses interactive games, songs, golden eggs and other rewards to make learning to read engaging and fun. With great online reading games, activities, over 1000 eBooks online and 120 big lessons, your kids are going to find learning to read simple and fun. Reading Eggspress is perfect for 7–8 year olds who already know the basics of reading but who still have much to learn about reading, writing, spelling and comprehension.
Emma Lee is in Kindergarten and is just beginning her reading adventures and learning to spell more and more words everyday. Since using Reading Eggs in the last 3 weeks, I've seen a great improvement in her reading and your spelling. She comes home from school and wants to get online to play her games and learn more. She views her learning experience on Reading Eggs as a fun activity and not as "work". When I spoke to her teacher the other day, she noted that Emma Lee is doing great in class.
I think it's important to teach my kids how to be great readers and writers at this fragile learning stage in life. I want to direct her on the right path in her vocabulary and grammar. The better her vocabulary, the better she'll be able to communicate and understand others.
Reading Eggs is hosting the Read to Cure Challenge to raise funds for the National Children’s Cancer Society. You can access Reading Eggs and take part in the Campaign for FREE. The Reading Eggs Read-To-Cure Challenge aims to help The National Children’s Cancer Society (NCCS) realize their mission to improve the quality of life for children with cancer. The goal is to raise $25,000, and Reading Eggs will match every donation made up to this amount. All money raised will help provide financial, emotional and educational support for children and families battling childhood cancer. Learn more about the NCCS at http://thenccs.org/.
