On my recent shopping trip to Sears, I picked up a few items to help me decorate the inside of my home. With a wreath garland, a tree topper, ornaments, and a fairy princess nutcracker, I was able to create a beautiful holiday setting at a great value.



Ornaments can be a great way to spruce up your holiday decor.

• Use traditional tree decorations to decorate the rest of your home for a unique look. I saw a beautiful silver and gold tree topper but already had a star on the tree so I used the one I picked up at sears and incorporated into my decor.
• Place beautiful ornament balls inside a lovely vase for something unique and pretty. 
• Tree full of ornaments? Use ornaments to add flair to your wreaths, garlands and table decor.

Kmart and Sears recently conducted a survey and found that:

• 1 in 4 Americans will begin to deck the halls one month before the holiday.
• 41 percent of Americans defined their signature design as “classic,” followed by “colorful” (37 percent) and “vintage” (12 percent).
• More than half (58 percent) of participants felt the most essential decoration for the holidays was the Christmas tree
• Nearly 25 percent of Americans choose decorating as their favorite holiday activity, with listening to Christmas music and shopping as other favorites.
