ZYRTEC® has teamed up with celebrity makeup artist Jamie Greenberg, to help women like myself combat ALLERGY FACE® this season and get back to enjoying our lovely spring weather. Jamie has created six makeup “looks” perfect for allergy sufferers trying to look their best.
My favorite look for summer is Spring Scarlet.
One of my favorite beauty tips is using a bronzer to disguise my puffy face. Just as you would wear black to look slimmer, you can do the same with a bronzer on your face. You can use a tinted moisturizer and/or foundation that is slightly darker than your skin tone and top it off with a powdered bronzer to outline your jawline and face. The key to this tip is to make sure your foundation is well blended into your skin and that you don't forget your neck!
These are my beauty tools to help me combat ALLERGY FACE.
- Concealer to conceal any redness or blemishes I may have.
- A foundation a few shades darker than my complexion to hide my puffy face.
- A pink beauty blender to make sure my foundation is well blended and looks flawless.
- A highlighter to highlight the center of my nose and under my eyes.
- Eyelash curler and waterproof mascara to make my eyes stand out.
- Top it off with my favorite lip color.
Here are some other tips to help with ALLERGY FACE provide relief from allergies.
- Be on allergy alert and use apps to set up alerts.
- Plan ahead and begin taking your meds a week or two before allergy season.
- Use a humidifier to help reduce allergens in your home.
- Try to go light on the make-up especially around the eye to avoid further irritation.
- Use a BB cream or other tinted moisturizers instead of foundation.
- Cleansing and exfoliating your skin daily can help remove allergens and other environmental pollutants from your skin.
- I personally do recommend taking ZYRTEC as directed, it works for me and don't stop taking it the moment you feel better because your symptoms can quickly come back if the air is not clear of what you may be allergic to.
