Hot Mama In The City

The holiday season is a great time to express gratitude to those we call friends and family. We spend a large portion of our time surrounding ourselves with some of our favorite people, holiday decor and recipes. It's also a great time to "Layer on love" and help those in need or to“give it forward” to members of our community. Coca-Cola wants to help "Layer on love" by supporting the non-profit organization, One Warm Coat, in their mission to donate half a million free coats this holiday season. You can get involved in giving back, too! Coca-Cola is challenging you to continue the giving by encouraging you to share how you are helping those in need by paying it forward and then sharing how you have by using #LayerOnLove on Social Media!


I want to encourage the "give it forward" pledge and help "Layer on Love" by giving back to my children's teachers with a little thank-you gift and letting them know how they can aid those in need this holiday season. I've put together a holiday gift basket with items to keep them warm this holiday season and a few teacher supplies to assist with the "layer on love" initiative and to inspire them to lend a helping hand this holiday.  

I did a little shopping at my local Walmart for my gift basket supplies. Found a large selection of Coca-Cola products in the soda grocery aisle and my other supplies throughout the store, quickly and easily.
