Chuck E. Cheese's is getting a makeover! Don't worry though! It's still going to be a great place for the family to grab some delicious pizza and enjoy a variety of games and entertainment. The new design highlights the pizza-making process and introduces more of a restaurant atmosphere for mom and dad, while not taking away from the fun and games that has made Chuck E. Cheese’s the place where a kid can be a kid for 40 years. We were recently invited to attend the re-grand opening of our local location here in San Antonio. This San Antonio location is the first in the country to be redesigned. It was a very exciting day for us to be one of the first families to explore the new and improved Chuck E. Cheese's.


Chuck E. Cheese’s, recently partnered with San Francisco-based design firm, Tesser, to update several of its flagship restaurants with a focus on fresh food and fun for the whole family. To appeal to parents, the restaurants feature a more adult ambiance with warm wood, neutral tones and streamlined graphics to create a calmer, more inviting, and friendly environment.

I've always been a big fan of the pizza at Chuck E. Cheese's so I'm excited about their new pizza options and lunch buffet. With delicious pizzas made from scratch daily at Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurants, the remodeled stores feature open kitchens, which allow guests to watch the pizza making process.

The lunch buffet is offered Monday – Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., has been moved closer to the open kitchen to tout its fresh ingredients.
Chuck E. Cheese’s new, programmable ‘tap-to-play’ Play Pass game card system, adults and kids alike will get to enjoy nearly a DOZEN NEW GAMES. Parents and kids can use the self-serving kiosks to easily reload game cards or check the balance. No more counting coins or carrying around a bag of heavy tokens.

The newly remodeled stores will feature a stunning, all-new light up dance floor where the hourly live show and birthday show will take place. This dance floor transforms into a fun dance party with all of the characters. Kids and parents can now dance with or alongside their favorite Chuck E. Cheese's pals. In addition, the Birthday Zone features more seating options for larger parties, with party sections designated by characters in Chuck E.’s band featuring a bold wall graphic silhouette and character biography.
