The holiday's are here and it's time for parties and get togethers with family and great friends. I love baking and making sweet treats for everyone to enjoy - especially this time of year. Who doesn't love a delicious a holiday dessert recipe?
Mini chocolate cream pie desserts are a fun and cute way to serve a traditional dessert for the holidays. These small sized portions are great for small and large gatherings. No need for dirty dishes or cutting tools, just grab and munch.
Pies are always a good option to bring to a class or office party. They are easy to make and often require little to no fuss, just bake and take. Baking with chocolate is fun because chocolate baking goods are always a big hit with everyone. I've been holding onto this mini chocolate pie recipe for sometime but wanted to do something fun and unique with it. When the opportunity to create a recipe using Reddi-wip Extra Creamy Dairy Whipped Topping and Pillsbury™ Refrigerated Pie Crusts I knew I would be using this simple mini chocolate pie recipe.
I headed to Walmart the other day to grab a few must have ingredients for a few of my other holiday recipes so I picked up some Reddi-wip Original Dairy Whipped Topping and Pillsbury Refrigerated Pie Crusts along with some fun sprinkles as a topping
These holiday treats are a fun and easy recipe that the kid's will love to help you create. My daughter was such a great little helper, she loved making these treats with me.
Ingredients:
- Reddi-wip Original Dairy Whipped Topping
- Pillsbury™ Refrigerated Pie Crusts
- Chocolate pudding pie mix or your favorite chocolate pudding recipe to use as filling.
- Sprinkles (Optional)
Directions:
- Use a round cookie cutter to cut out your pie crust. Don't have a cookie cutter? Use a cup or bowl to trace out a circle.
- Place pie crust in cupcake pan.
- Bake pie crust at 350 for about 10 minutes or until golden. Or Follow instructions on the packaging.
- Allow pie crust to cool before adding chocolate filling.
- Make chocolate pudding pie mix.
- Fill your mini crust with the chocolate pudding pie mix.
- Place in fridge for about 30 minutes or until completely cooled.
- Top with a dollop of Reddi-wip and sprinkles when ready to serve.
